Caucus & Assembly in Douglas County
The Douglas County Democratic Caucus and Assembly is where Democrats come together to help decide which candidates advance to the Democratic primary ballot. It’s one of the most important steps in the local nominating process — and your participation truly matters.
The Douglas County Caucus will be held virtually on March 5, 2026, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. We highly recommend registering in advance.
At a caucus, registered Democrats come together to:
Meet others in their community
Elect precinct organizers (or POs)
Sign up to be an election judge or poll watcher
Begin shaping the priorities and direction of the county party
You don’t need any prior experience — just a commitment to showing up and participating. In order to participate in the County Assembly as a delegate, you must attend the Caucus and be elected.

The Douglas County Democratic Assembly is where delegates elected at caucus come together to vote on which Democratic candidates advance toward the primary ballot. Candidates who earn enough support at the assembly move forward in the nominating process. Our campaign is seeking ballot access through the Caucus and Assembly process, and we need your support!
County Assembly will be held in-person on March 14th from 9 am - 12 pm at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch.

Yes! To attend Caucus and Assembly in Douglas County, you should register in advance. Completing the Commit to Caucus form is not the same as registering for Caucus. Complete your registration here.

You can register to vote, update your voter registration, and affiliate to be a Democrat at govotecolorado.com.
The deadline to update your voter information to participate in the Caucus and Assembly is February 11, 2026.

Many people can’t attend every meeting due to work, distance, or family commitments. That’s okay. If you cannot attend the caucus, you may submit an Absence Form.
